Morimoto by Sea

Morimoto by Sea (midships port side Deck 11 - Observation Deck accessible via midships elevators only) is a specialty restaurant that is unique to the Nieuw Amsterdam. On all other Holland America ships, it exists as a "pop-up" restaurant in Tamarind or in the Pinnacle Grill (for ships that don't have Tamarind) on at least one night each cruise.

Morimoto by Sea is a concept of Chef Masaharu Morimoto, Holland America's Global Fresh Fish Ambassador (and Iron Chef television star), and the restaurant emphasizes (of course) fresh fish with the fish and other ingredients native to various regions, yielding destination-inspired menus and local specialties telling the story of each itinerary through cuisine.

As with all the specialty restaurants, Morimoto by Sea comes with an additional charge. The additional charge includes one entree per person plus as many appetizers, side dishes and desserts you'd like to try.
