Simply the presence of a window makes an Ocean-View Stateroom a significant step up from an Interior Stateroom. Most people feel far more comfortable with the presence of daylight through their cabin's windows. It can definitely make the room seem larger, even though it's not.
Also keep in mind, that Ocean-View Staterooms (especially the showers) can still be extremely cozy. The same cautions for non-petite bodies from Interior Staterooms apply just about as much to Ocean-View Staterooms.
